Hello, I am Daniel. I am a sophomore majoring in Computer Science, and this is my E-Board Q&A Introduction!

-What made you pursue this position?
I ran for rowing club treasurer because I wished to play a key role in rebuilding UB's rowing team—especially in a financial manner. I saw it as an opportunity to give back to a sport and community that has given me so much passion and can't wait to help the team grow and thrive.
-When did you start rowing? What was the reason?
I started rowing in my freshman year of high school at Oyster Bay Community Rowing. I've never been afraid to try a new sport, and the moment I got into a boat for the first time, I immediately knew that I wanted to keep it up. The challenge, teamwork, and discipline that are a part of rowing drew me in.
-What is your fondest rowing memory?
My favorite moment was racing at the Head of the Charles in 2023. I had worked for months and competed with my crewmates for a spot in the varsity boat. We finished in the top half of our event, which allowed our club to secure a guaranteed entry for the following year. This wasn’t just about placing well—it meant a lot to me to create an opportunity for younger rowers in my club to have that same experience in the future.
-Finally, what is your plan to improve the club?
My goal is to have more UB students join the rowing club. I would love to help bring our roster up to a point where we can regularly row multiple eights and build a strong community in our sport. Whether it's outreach, events, or budgeting, I am committed to helping the club grow and develop.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve as treasurer for the UB rowing team. I’m excited to work alongside all of you and can’t wait to compete together at upcoming regattas.
