I technically rowed at UB for two years, but more realistically with Covid it was closer to one.

What are your plans post graduation?

After graduation, I’m planning to get a job working in the data sciences. For a while I thought I would work in Buffalo or Albany, but lately I’ve liked the idea of moving around the country more.

What advice would you give incoming freshman?

If you can push through the first few frustrating weeks of learning how to row, it’ll be worth it.
