The Docks Are In!

We are so excited!

Yesterday we put the docks in. We are one step closer to having our team back on the water for the first time in over a year. March 13, 2020 was our last team practice. We were still inside on the ergs doing winter training. Just a few days earlier we had been planning our spring break trip to VA which would have had us leaving on March 14, 2020. What a wild ride of emotions this has been.

A week or two into February of 2021 we got the okay to start planning practices on the water. It was such a relief to know we could get back out there on the water and see each other. This has required many extra layers of careful planning but we are almost ready.

Step 1: put the docks back in the water!

Step 2: rig the boats (coming up next week!)

Step 3: launch our boats for practice (one more week!)

We are accepting new members (experienced and novices) at this time. Email our recruiting officer at avirgo@buffalo.edu
